Policies

It is important to note that depending on the platform you booked through these policies may vary due to platform restrictions and practices. We have limited to no control over these platforms.
Security Deposit

A pre-authorization of $150 is held 1 day before arrival and voided on 7 days after departure.

Wheelchair Accessible Rooms

#2, #3,#12,#13,#14. Please call the Inn directly to speak with one of our staff to ensure your accommodations fit your needs.
 

Reservation Changes

If any change of dates (including shortening a reservation) is requested 15 days before arrival, a one-time change is permitted, subject to availability. There is a $75 fee for this change whether upgrading, downsizing or just changing your reservation, and your deposit becomes non-refundable. Late arrivals or early check-outs/shortened stays will be charged in full per the original reservation.

 

Wedding Blocks:

We extend a complimentary reservation hold for the rooms you require, and your guests should contact us to secure their bookings no later than 45 days prior to your date. Any unconfirmed reservations beyond that point will be released to the public. If bookings are cancelled, a 15% refund may be given only if confirmed 30 days prior. Please fill out our wedding reservation form so we can reserve for your special day. 
 

Check-In: 4:00 pm Check Out: 10:00 am

Guests are welcome to check in any time after 4:00 pm on their day of arrival.  Guests will receive self-check-in instructions the day before arrival via email. If you should need anything after hours that cannot wait until the next business day, please call 978-358-1800 and you will reach someone off the property, in the event of a disturbance please call the Police immediately.

 

Late Check-Out: 11:30 am

There is a $55.00 charge for late check-out requests that extend to 11:30 am, this ensures enough time to properly sanitize guest rooms between stays.

 

Cancellation Policy:

Our Inn's small size means cancellations affect us significantly. The policy is Firm: Full refund for cancellations 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in then you must cancel within 48 hours of booking confirmation and at least 14 days before check-in or 50% refund if cancelled at least 7 days before arrival. If you make a reservation for your stay within that 14-day window and then cancel, you are still held to the cancellation policy.  No Shows forfeit the entire amount of reservation. Shortened stays are at your discretion and there will be no refunds, if you are the cardholder/payor but not the guest and the stay is shortened there will be no refund.
 

Housekeeping

None provided during your stay for your safety and our staff's safety.

 

Pet Policy

Unfortunately, the Inn at Ring’s Island does not accept pets anywhere on the property, including the parking lot. No exceptions will be made. An automatic $500.00 cleaning fee will be assessed for any pets in the Inn.

 

Smoking Policy

NON-SMOKING PROPERTY The Inn at Ring’s Island is smoke-free. Smoking inside or outside any room or suite will result in an automatic $500.00 charge.

 

Keys

There is a $75.00 charge for failure to return key(s) at check-out. Keys may also be left in your room upon checkout.


Trash

Please DO NOT leave your food behind or trash in or strewn about the room(s), doorways, decks, outside, or any other area aside from placing in the trash receptacles provided in your room. Remove all alcohol, ice bags, and food from the fridge. If your trash does not fit in the trash receptacle provided please walk it out to the dumpster street side behind the white fenced area and depicted on the map provided. You will be charged $100.00 for any trash left in the room that is not in the provided receptacle. Check the fridge/freezer before you leave, please do not leave pizza boxes or food in the room.

 

Mini Splits

There are no remotes for the mini split (AC / Heating wall unit) the thermostat is on the wall. If it reads HO it is just going through its motion please do not push any buttons as it stops the process. 

 

Damage to linens

We photograph the damage and charge accordingly using the same cost guideline as the theft charges below. We don’t like to do it but it affects us significantly.

 

Damage to the property, chairs, and room items (aside from linens) breaking any windows will be immediately charged to your credit card. 

 

Theft

We are a small inn and theft of any kind affects us significantly. Please be a good human and just don't do it. Missing items will be charged to your credit card. Missing towels and linens will be charged at the replacement cost of $50/item, comforters at $100, glasses, pots/pans, cutlery, and any interior room items will be charged accordingly.

Guest Regulations

Please help us avoid noise complaints by being courteous to other guests who may be sleeping, especially after 10 pm and before 7 am.

No parties or large gatherings are to be hosted in your room or suite. Guests are responsible for any cleaning fees or damages resulting from such gatherings.

Cooking is not allowed in any room, with the exception of our suites 15, 17, 18 with full kitchens. Guests are responsible for any damages to a room and/or missing items and will be charged accordingly. No barbecuing per the State and local Fire Marshall.
 

Parking

There is ONE spot available per room. A valid guest vehicle pass (provided) must be displayed on your driver’s side dashboard at all times while on the property.
 

Disturbances

Please call 911 immediately.

 

After Hours

If there is something that absolutely cannot wait until the next business day at 9 am please call 978-358-1800. We are onsite from 9 – 4 pm in season / 9-3 off-season.
